I thought that tv executives and advertisements would have been over this whole “make it cool for the kids” phase in the early 90’s
I mean…that ad MIGHT have worked in like 92, but considering the style of hip hop anyway these days, that promo seems so dated, it’s just astounding to me how out of touch they would be in attempting to “win kids over.” But of course, the cartoon speaks for itself, it’s a classic. But if kids who have never seen it don’t tune in to watch it, I can almost guarantee that their stupid promo would be a factor
